I recently purchased the Modloft Monroe bedroom set in Wenge with white headrests. My bedroom walls are grey, with white doors and crown molding. I would like to stick with grey, black, and white. Possibly zebra. I am not sure the best way to dress the platform bed. Zebra sheets? White blanket? Folded down zebra throw? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
I think I will do a faux zebra rug. Some zebra throw pillows. Should I keep the bedding white to offset the zebra? Or black? I dont want to overdo the zebra, so I want it in eye catching places.

I would also be looking for input on window treatments. I love the scarf valance look, but am having trouble visualizing the best colors. Thank you.

You have plenty of options with black and white color scheme. The decision depends on your taste and preferences. You may stay with grey, black, and white colors only, or you may add an additional color like red, green, or yellow. You may decorate your bedroom with solid surfaces only, or choose any ornamental theme you like: stripes, floral, geometrical, zebra, etc. If you like zebra, go with this theme. The only important thing here is to keep balance between colors themselves and between solid and ornamental surfaces. For a small room the preferences should be light solid colors mostly, with small ornamental spots. A large amount of zebra for example, may look annoying in such room - I would go with zebra shams and white throw there. If a room is a spacious one - you may have folded down zebra throw and black (or white, or grey) shams or whatever you like.

For your bedding I would suggest white – it will create a beautiful contrast with the dark furniture. I’m not sure that black will work well on the dark bed. Another option is grey or cream color bedding. As for window treatment, it should complement your bedroom decor and work well for your needs. If privacy and light control are not your preferences, you may drape your window with window scarf only.
