Blackout Roman Shades
with Sheer Curtains?

Hi,
I have a bay window with blackout roman shades in a champagne color and I just feel like there is something missing. My decor is very neutral shades, light browns and greys. I was wondering if having full length to the floor sheer curtains over the shades would be OK?
We live in the corner of a road so you can see right into our living room. I thought when we are in we can shut the sheers for a bit more privacy in the day, then do the roman shades at night? I was thinking of getting a similar color to the curtains (champagne)? I just can't vision what it would look like. I spent a lot of money getting these shades made so I don't want to get rid of them and just have curtains.

Of course, you can, it's a great idea!
You will definitely get more flexibility with such window treatment. Even more, you may add regular window curtains to your roman shades as well. Just be sure that you have enough space to hang them over the shades. The curtains color doesn't have to be similar to your roman shades tone.
