Question:Hello, I’m hoping to get some advice on what to do with the windows and sliding doors in the living room of my home with a water view. I've tried to keep the decor light and cottagey.
Here is what the room looks like thus far:
White sofa, wood floors, warm khaki walls (Martha Stewart Bentwood), white trim, wood ceiling. 1 dark brown rattan chair, green pillows/accents. Sisal rug with black border, black coffee table, black entertainment cabinet.
There are several windows and 2 sliding glass doors. I've made white linen relaxed roman shades for the windows. Now I'm stuck on the sliding doors. I've decided on drapes with grommet tops so they can be easily slid to the side, plus I feel grommets are sort of casual which is what I"m going for. Should I continue with the white? Do white drapes with a wide green border at the bottom? Go for something different? I've been looking and looking at fabrics but I can't find anything just right. For awhile I was leaning toward green and white stripes, but I think it would be too bold.
Thanks in advance!
